Graded homework (reading, writing, listening, etc.) will receive two scores; a homework completion score (see below) and a score in the skill category. If the work is submitted late the homework grade will be lowered as outlined below, but the skill grade will not be affected. If late work is not submitted by the Friday make-up day both grades will be unchangeable zeros.
Full Credit:
Work that is completed at the BEGINNING of class on the day it is due and submitted with corrections after class review.
Partial Credit
Work that is incomplete at the beginning of class on the day it is due can be correctly completed and submitted by Friday of the week it was due* in order to receive passing credit of 60%.
*If work is due on a Friday partial credit will be given until the following Friday.
No Credit
No work will be accepted after the Friday make-up day, and an unchangeable grade of zero for the assignment will be received.
Sports:
Homework must be submitted on the due date for full credit or will be considered late and will follow the guidelines for partial credit.
