We look forward to offering our students, staff, alumni and the MVRHS community an enjoyable and safe Homecoming celebration! Below you will find a schedule for our homecoming games, student and spectator guidelines, and important information on the homecoming dance.
Homecoming Games – Go Vineyarders!
Friday, October 20th
6:00 pm – Varsity Football vs. Saint John Paul II
Saturday, October 21st
11:30 am – Girls Varsity Soccer vs. Whitinsville Christian
1:00 pm – Girls Varsity Field Hockey vs. Whitnam-Hanon
1:30 pm – Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Whitinsville Christian
2:15 pm – Girls JV Field Hockey vs. Whitnam-Hanon
Students and spectators:
We have made a commitment as a school to promote good sportsmanship and provide appropriate supervision for students, coaches and spectators at all MVRHS athletic events. Please review the MVRHS sportsmanship guidelines before attending a sporting event.
Homecoming Dance: Saturday, October 21st | 6:30 – 9:30 PM | MVRHS Cafeteria
We are pleased to offer a homecoming dance for all grade levels on Saturday evening at MVRHS from 6:30 – 9:30 PM in the cafeteria. Please take the time to review the following information:
- Tickets: on sale for $10* and available for purchase during lunch period for all grade levels (*no student will be turned away if they cannot afford the ticket price).
- Safety: Faculty chaperones and the School Resource Officer will be present at the dance to maintain a safe and secure environment. The following protocols will be in place:
- All students will be tested with a breathalyzer upon exit (and upon entry if necessary) to ensure no person is under the influence of alcohol.
- As a further precaution, no bags/backpacks are allowed. Only clear bags will be permitted.
- Students cannot re-enter the dance if they leave.
- Dance attire: semi-formal featuring a DJ, dancing, desserts and drinks.
- Food and Drink Donations: The sophomore student council would greatly appreciate any food donations for this event such as drinks, sweets, pizzas, and appetizers along with napkins. Donations can be dropped off at the front to Guinevere Cramer or Maureen O’Malley over the next two weeks. Pizza can be dropped off Saturday.
- Drop off: Students should be dropped off at the cafeteria doors for entrance.
- Guests: Any students who wish to bring a guest outside of MVRHS must return a completed MVRHS Guest Request Form to Mr. Light.
