Greetings Class of 2024!
It was great to see so many of you attending our annual MVRHS Local Scholarship Information Night last evening! For those of you who were unable to attend, you’ll find a recording of the event here (passcode emailed) and the presentation that was shared here.
A Few Important Scholarship Program Reminders:
- Local Scholarship Booklet: If you haven’t already, please be sure to review (IN DETAIL!) the Local Scholarship Booklet (you must be logged into your MVRHS Google account to access). This booklet contains all the information you will need on scholarship opportunities and outlines the scholarship process. Hard copies of the booklet are also available at the guidance office.
- Online Application: Register for your online account ASAP! The online application process is for Section 1 and Section 2 scholarships, which have a deadline of March 15th. Section 3 scholarships have their own applications, criteria and set of deadlines. If you don’t know the difference between the section types, refer to the Local Scholarship Booklet and/or presentation linked above.
- When you have a free hour this week or weekend, be sure to check out all of the scholarships listed in Section 3 of the Local Scholarship Booklet. Many scholarships advertised in Section 3 have a fast-approaching deadline so I suggest that you do not delay in reviewing your options and be sure to get started on the applications.
- If you have yet to complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) you may want to head over to the MEFA (Massachusetts Educational Financial Authority) site for a little more information and guidance on the procedure.
Questions? Email Mary Korba or feel free to stop by the guidance office. A reminder that you can find the latest scholarship program updates on the MVRHS website.
Thank you!
