The registration deadline for the PSAT is this Friday, October 6th at 12pm. Please bring your $18.00 payment to the guidance office (preferably a check made out to MVRHS, but cash is also accepted). Note there is no school on Friday but the building will be open.
The PSAT will be offered Wednesday, October 11th at MVRHS. All juniors and some sophomores are encouraged to take this test. It is a practice SAT (the test used in the college admissions process) which will help examine test-taking ability and any areas for improvement. Generally speaking, students who have completed Algebra and Geometry are encouraged to take this practice test- that is why we only encourage some sophomores.
We look forward to offering this opportunity. To make this test a reality we need your help. Students need to register in a timely manner, check their emails for testing procedures, and do their best when they actually sit for the test on October 11th. The testing will take place in the gym, and students will need to report to the gym by 7:40am (testing typically is complete by 11:30am).
