Dear Families,
We’re all excited about our fast-approaching school year, and we look forward to seeing all of our parents and students once again. For all of our first-time parents and students we would like to welcome you into our school community and, on behalf of the entire staff, I would like to say we cannot wait to get to know you better and introduce you to the wonderful things we do at MVRHS.
On Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, students in grades 9-12 will be picked up at their bus stop by a school bus and transported to the High School. During the first three weeks of school we make continual adjustments to the routes and times of these buses, so if you have any questions, or have moved since last January, please call the school as soon as possible at 508-693-1033 ext. 253.
Please note the following days of importance:
Friday, September 1, 2017 – First day of school for freshmen only. There will be a 12 PM dismissal and lunch will be served.
Tuesday, September 19, 2017 – Back-to-School Night.
October 12th – 18th, 2017 – Parent Conferences.
It is important for those students who have not already done so to clear any outstanding debts they may still have. If your child has any debts, they will have the first week of school to resolve their debts. If you have any questions, please call the school at (508) 693-1033 ext. 110.
Freshmen Students Only
On Friday, September 1, freshmen students will be picked up at their regular bus stops (see bus route information). Upon arrival to school, please report to the Performing Arts Center for Freshmen Orientation. This is a ½ day of school and lunch will be served.
On Tuesday, September 5, please report to your 1st period class upon your arrival to school; the warning bell rings at 7:35 a.m. This is a regular school day for all students from grades 9 – 12 and lunch will be served.
I look forward to all of us working together to make this upcoming year a great one.
Sincerely,
Sara Dingledy
Principal
