The Third Annual MVRHS Poetry Out Loud School-Wide Contest was held last evening in the Library. Several students competed and many of the attendees shared favorite poems and original work. I want to thank all those who helped make this event possible including Spencer D’Agostino, the English Department, Peg Regan, Island poet Ellie Bates and all those who attended.
Congratulations to the runner-ups Zach Bresnick and Belle Dinning.
And congratulations to winner of the competition, Amadine Muniz. She will compete in the regional competition in March!
