Cornhole Tournament to Benefit Project Vine
Project Vine's annual Cornhole Tournament and board sale is this coming Friday, May the Fourth (Be With You!) The cost to register is $40 for teams of 2, or $20 to register "Han Solo" and be paired with a teammate. Registration is online on our program website at ProjectVine.Weebly.Com There's also cookout food for $10 a plate, served up by our Chopped for Charity winners, Sophomores Jason Rivers and Henry Warner. March 2018 Dear Parents, As part of the comprehensive evaluation of Martha's Vineyard Public School's well-being, students were asked to complete a short survey about how they feel about their well-being and their ideas on how to improve well-being. All information collected will not reveal the identity of each student. Davin Tackabury and Emily Weyl Win National Awards
Congratulations to MVRHS sophomore Davin Tackabury and freshman Emily Weyl who won national awards at the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards in New York City last week! Davin won a Gold Medal for his photograph, "Coexist" and a Silver Medal for his photo, "Foreigner". Freshman Emily Weyl won a Silver Medal for her photo, "Tears in Her Eyes". Davin's gold medal piece is being shipped to New York to be shown in a special gallery exhibit there. (It's currently on exhibit at Tufts.) He also intends to attend the big national ceremony at Carnegie Hall in June.
