Navigators and Voyagers host second annual Thanksgiving potluck

On Friday 11/22, Keren Albiston and students in the Navigator and Voyager programs hosted their second annual Thanksgiving Potluck at MVRHS. After dinner, the audience was treated to several performances by the students, led by music director Brooke Ditchfield. It was an unforgettable evening that reminded us all about what makes our community special. Major James Hegarty’s Veteran’s Day Speech

MVRHS wins national recognition as Unified Champion School

This past summer Special Olympics recognized MVRHS as a Unified Champion School. At the home game for Unified Basketball on Thursday, November 7th, we raised our national banner! The letter of award from Special Olympics of Massachusetts reads: Congratulations to Martha's Vineyard High School for receiving National Banner recognition for meeting/achieving national standards of excellence in the areas of inclusion, advocacy and respect!  The athletes, partners, students, coaches, volunteers, teachers, staff and administration at Martha's Vineyard have all played key roles in creating a social climate where everyone feels included and respected for who they are.   We are honored to have Read More / Leia mais
