Dear MVRHS Community, I hope everyone had a safe and restful break. Perhaps you have heard lately that the high school is looking to implement “Away for the Day” with regard to phones next year.  This is an extension of our current rule which states that students hand phones in to teachers at the start of classes and flex time.  “Away for the Day” would bring the high school expectations in alignment with the current expectations of the island middle schools–that phones are away for the entire day. Dear MVRHS Community, Bon Voyage to our travelers!  Three separate international trips depart this week and we wish all of the groups safe travels. I want to say a HUGE thank you to all the staff who have volunteered their time to travel with our students. Each of these staff members understands the transformative potential of travel, and have stepped away from their own busy lives to give students this opportunity. THANK YOU!
