The significant increase in violence against Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans this past year, the most recent being the murder of six women and two men of Asian descent in Atlanta, is an outgrowth of systemic racism and should be condemned as such.  The MVRHS school community continues to affirm peace and condemn violence in all forms. As a community committed to confronting and ending systemic racism, MVRHS stands in solidarity with the Asian American Pacific Islander community.  For students who would like to process this further, please reach out to your Guidance Counselor, School Adjustment Counselors, or a trusted adult in the building.
