Greetings Class of 2024!
Winter Break is almost here which leaves us with only two full weeks of school upon our return before all Scholarships listed in Sections 1 & 2 are due – Friday, March 15th! The first step to applying is creating your online account. If you haven’t done this, do it today!
Be sure to leave yourself plenty of time to get your applications and essays (if required) completed. Remember, you’ll need to complete page one of the application form before any associated Section 2 essays will populate.
Also – don’t forget about all of the amazing Section 3 (outside) scholarships found in the MVRHS Scholarship Booklet (available to MVRHS seniors only).
Pay attention to Section 3 Scholarship Deadlines – Here are some that are due on or before March 15th 2024:

Reminders:
- Due to delays with the new FAFSA, you may have filed your FASFA but are still waiting to receive your Student Aid Report. To remedy this, we have updated the FASFA question on the application. For those of you who have filed your FASFA but are still waiting to receive your Student Aid Report, you now have the option of selecting:“Yes, I am eligible and have filed the 2024-2025 FAFSA, but have not yet received my Student Aid Report.”
- Feel free to stop by the guidance office if you have any questions and/or need help with the scholarship application process. You can also reach out via email at scholarships@mvyps.org or sign up for Senior Help Tuesdays-Fridays during Flex. Please don’t wait until the last minute – help is here if you need it!
Have a safe and restful break!
