Brief Description of job: I worked along side the pharmacists in the pharmacy. I helped organize the prescriptions and medication as well as help fill prescriptions. Most of my job consisted of observing since as a student my abilities were limited. I also observed the administration of flu shots. Along with working in the pharmacy I worked out front as well, handing out prescriptions, cashing out customer and assisting customers that required help.
Like/dislike about internship/mentorship: I loved the experience and learning about pharmaceuticals which is something I have always been interested in. I really like how the job incorporates biology and chemistry since they have always been my favorite subjects. The staff were all very welcoming and eager to teach. The hardest part would have had to been the fact that my tasks are very limited due to the fact that I am a highschool student still.
Influence of job experience on post graduation life: This experience has been extremely influential for me! It has further ensured that something in the pharmaceutical industry is what I want to pursue.
