Half Day and Holiday
Wednesday, January 11th is a Professional Development day for staff and a half day for students with an 11 am dismissal time. Click here for the half day bell schedule. In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, there will be no school on Monday, January 16th.
PTSO Meeting January 10th
A reminder that this month’s PTSO meeting is January 5:00 PM via Zoom. Click here for agenda and meeting details. Participation is encouraged and all are welcome to attend!
Science Fair January 14th
The MVRHS 24th Annual Science and Engineering Fair will be held this Saturday, January 14th in the cafeteria. Students will be presenting their investigative and engineering projects to the Fair’s judges between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM. The Fair will open up to the public from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM for public viewing and awards.
School Picture Retakes/Makeups January 19th
School Picture Retakes/Make-ups are scheduled for January 19th from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm in the PAC. All students must have their picture taken for new MVRHS student ID badges. Navigator and Voyager students should report to the PAC at 10:30. All other students who need their photo taken should go during their lunch period.
ACCESS Assessments
The yearly ACCESS assessment to measure the English proficiency progress of the commonwealth’s ELL population will run from Monday, January 9th to Friday, February 10th. Four subtests (listening, reading, writing, and speaking) make up the assessment. ALL current students identified as being English Language Learners are required to participate. Yearbooks!
The MVRHS 2023 yearbook is now available for preorder in the school store or library. The yearbook is $40, cash or check made out to MVRHS. Remember a year of memories, friendships, and laughter.

Meio dia 11 de janeiro
Quarta-feira, 11 de janeiro é um dia de Desenvolvimento Profissional para o pessoal e será meio dia para os estudantes com dispensa às 11 horas da manhã. Veja aqui o horário de meio dia.
Feira de Ciências 14 de janeiro
A MVRHS tem o orgulho de anunciar sua 24ª Feira anual de Ciência e Engenharia, a ser realizada no sábado, 14 de janeiro, no refeitório. Os estudantes apresentarão seus projetos de investigação e engenharia aos juízes da Feira entre 9h30 e 11h30. A Feira será aberta ao público das 11h30 às 13h00 para exibição pública e premiação.
Avaliações de ACESSO
A avaliação anual ACCESS para medir o progresso da proficiência em inglês da população ELL da Commonwealth ocorrerá de segunda, 9 de janeiro, a sexta-feira, 10 de fevereiro. Quatro sub-testes (ouvir, ler, escrever e falar) compõem a avaliação. TODOS os alunos atuais identificados como sendo alunos de língua inglesa são obrigados a participar. Repetições/Makeups de fotos escolares
As Retiradas/Maquiagem de fotos escolares estão programadas para 19 de janeiro das 10:30 às 13:00 horas no PAC. Todos os alunos devem ter suas fotos tiradas para os novos crachás de identificação de estudante da MVRHS. Os alunos da Navigator e da Voyager devem se apresentar ao PAC às 10h30. Todos os outros estudantes que precisarem que sua foto seja tirada devem ir durante o período de almoço.
Anuários!
O anuário da MVRHS 2023 está agora disponível para pré-compra na loja ou biblioteca da escola. O anuário é de $40, em dinheiro ou cheque feito para a MVRHS. Lembre-se de um ano de lembranças, amizades e risos.
