The hybrid schedule is set to begin on January 11, 2021.
Dear MVRHS Community,
When we paused the implementation of the hybrid before Thanksgiving, we promised to update you about the status of the return to school.
Last night at the MVRHS School Committee meeting, the committee authorized Matt D’Andrea, in consultation with myself, the Health and Safety Committee, and other stakeholders, to make the ultimate decision regarding the date we will start our hybrid model.
We have determined that January 11th will be our target date. On that day, a Monday, we fully expect Cohort A to begin in-person instruction at MVRHS. On Wednesday, January 13th, we fully expect Cohort B to begin their in-person instruction in the building.
We have sent out details regarding the hybrid plan in prior emails. We have also sent out a survey that most of you have completed. If you have not done so yet, please do it ASAP.
Many people are also wondering about sports. Sports will begin on December 14th in an on-island practice and intramural configuration, similar to what we did in the fall. We are planning to engage in league competition later in January, after we have moved into the hybrid model. If you are interested in joining an MVRHS winter sports team, please create a FamilyID account and register for your choice of sport.

Quando pausamos a implementação do módulo híbrido antes do Dia de Ação de Graças, prometemos atualizá-los sobre o status do retorno às aulas.
Ontem à noite, na reunião do Comitê Escolar da MVRHS, o comitê autorizou o Superintendente Matt D’Andrea, em consulta comigo, o Comitê de Saúde e Segurança e outras partes interessadas, a tomar a decisão da data para iniciar o modelo híbrido híbrido.
Determinamos que o dia 11 de janeiro será a data que tentaremos começar. Nesse dia, uma segunda-feira, esperamos que o grupo A comece as aulas presenciais na MVRHS. Na quarta-feira, 13 de janeiro, esperamos que o grupo B comece suas aulas presenciais.

Muitas pessoas também estão se perguntando sobre esportes. Os esportes começarão no dia 14 de dezembro como uma prática na ilha e configuração intramural, semelhante ao que fizemos no outono. Estamos planejando entrar na competição da liga em janeiro, uma vez que estamos no modelo híbrido de escolaridade.
