The Vineyarder March 2022

Dear MVRHS Community,

Happy (almost) spring! I hope you all had a healthy, happy, and restful winter break.

As you may have heard, MVRHS was recently voted into the preliminary stages of the MSBA (Massachusetts School Building Authority) process. This is a huge opportunity for our school and our island. We will keep you informed as the project unfolds and plan to hold open houses with teachers, students and the public to allow for input and questions. Stay tuned.

Below you will find a selection of winter school highlights, upcoming events, reminders, and more. Please note that ongoing school news and announcements can always be found via the Announcements page on the MVRHS website. You can also find us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

Looking forward to a great spring ahead!

Sincerely,

Sara Dingledy, Principal

Building Tomorrow Together

“We’re excited about this incredible opportunity for MVRHS and the island community. To be accepted into the MSBA program is a gift that can help us drive the process forward and address the long overdue facility needs of our campus. The MSBA funding will help us renew the older section of building (built in 1959) while renovating and enhancing newer sections of the building (built in 1978 and 1995) to meet the needs of our students, teachers, administration and community partners.” Samuel Hart, Pathways and Special Projects
