2019 RECOGNIZING EXCELLENCE IN THE ART AND LITERARY MAGAZINES, sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) has presented MVRHS with the highest award in Massachusetts (REALM First Class) for the 2019 edition of Seabreezes.
The award recognizes the extraordinary efforts of Faculty Advisors: William McCarthy and Chris Baer, and Student Editors: Astoria Hall, Emma Van Lohuizen, Blake Leasure, Amelia Kyburg-Abbott, Amelia Simmons, Meredith Carlomagno, Chesca Potter, Molly Carroll, Davin Tackabury, Caroline Hurley, and Tyla Packish.
Seabreezes is a yearly magazine showcasing student produced poetry, essays, plays, short stories, art and photography.
