Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School is proud to be recognized by Special Olympics Massachusetts as a 2025–2026 Unified Champion School. The designation recognizes MVRHS’s commitment to building an inclusive school community where students of all abilities are valued, respected, and given meaningful opportunities to participate, lead, and connect with one another.
Unified Champion Schools bring together students with and without intellectual disabilities through Unified Sports, inclusive student leadership, and whole-school engagement. Special Olympics Massachusetts recognized the work of MVRHS students and staff in fostering a culture that emphasizes acceptance, equity, respect, and human dignity, and in empowering students to be advocates for inclusion.
This recognition reflects the contributions of students, educators, coaches, counselors, administrators, and others throughout the MVRHS community who continue working to make inclusion an integral part of school life.
