MVRHS DECA qualifies for state competition

I am beaming with pride over the performance and professionalism of 21 MVRHS students at the District 8 DECA Career Development Conference and I want to take a moment of your time to share in their success. 

During this conference, the students competed in an academic competition focused on business in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Human Resources, and Travel and Tourism. The 21 MVRHS DECA students compiled 13 awards in a field of 900+ students from 12 other Southeastern Massachusetts high schools. Eight students finished in the top 10 of their category, with 5 qualifying to move on to the DECA State Competition in Boston this March. 

The student competitors include; Aiden Marek, Asher Gates, Blake Leasure, Owen Bresnick, Sam Cranston, Nick Cowan, Bertrand Mullen, Vitoria DeOliveira, Annabelle Thomas, Theo Fairchild-Coppoletti, Barrett Oliver, Andres Garcia, Hollis Kelly, Henry Hitchings, Matt Morris, Max Cordray, John McCormick, Caitlin McHugh, Owen Engler, Sam Wallace, and Wilson Riley.
