Support from the Librarian
Kevin McGrath (the MVRHS librarian) offers a variety of services to support you in incorporating information literacy skills into your curriculum. The librarian can help with designing lessons involving information and media literacy and selecting appropriate resources. This could involve creating custom resource guides (examples), assistance for your students during and outside of class, and direct teaching of media literacy skills alongside you in your classroom. For instance, the librarian can provide instruction on using online databases, creating citations in different styles (MLA, APA, Chicago), and evaluating the credibility of sources.
Library Classroom / Reading Space
The library classroom has comfortable seating and lighting for reading, discussion, or small classes. There’s room for about 15 students. You can reserve the space depending on availability. The calendar is here and on the library webpage. If you’d like to reserve it, just let Kevin McGrath know.

Import a Google Calendar with the MVRHS block schedule
Some find it helpful to have the individual blocks in their Google calendar. Here’s help doing that!
