Review: City of Savages
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Told in alternate chapters, two sisters, Phee and Sky, somehow survive in New York City after a world war. America is gone, and Central Park has been turned into a prisoner camp. Relying only on their mom and each other, they must survive ruthless streetfights, cannibals, and possibly worse, and it seems the secrets of the past are being hidden by everyone, but why?

Review: Red Queen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Mare is born a Red, one of the commoners (with red blood) who live to serve the Silvers (silver blood). The Silvers have god-like powers, ruthlessly controlling the Reds while at war amongst themselves. Through a strange turn of events Mare finds herself working at the palace of the Silvers, only to discover, in a death-defying moment, that she has a power of her own strong enough to threaten the rule of Silvers. The story and characters will keep you guessing. Sure to be a great trilogy!
