Dear Families,
By the end of this week you will be hearing from you child’s teacher about plans to provide learning opportunities. We intend to have resources available to all students by Monday, March 23. Please do not hesitate to contact your school if you are in need of assistance accessing these resources. School staff are available by email and you can call building offices between 10:30 and 1:30 Monday through Friday.
Food will be available starting tomorrow from 11:00 to 1:00 at MVRHS, the Oak Bluffs School, the Edgartown School, the Tisbury School and the West Tisbury School. Delivery will be directly to your car, so please drive to the curb and wait for a staff member to assist you. Principals will be reaching out to families to provide additional information.
During this serious medical crisis, and to help support the health and well-being of our entire community, I ask that students and staff practice social distancing and avoid gathering in groups. This includes even small groups. Our Island must come together to stop or slow any potential transmission. This will not work without the cooperation of all or our Island residents. Please continue to practice social distancing and everyday preventive measures to help stop the spread of COVID-19. I extend my gratitude for your patience and hope you stay safe and healthy.
