Dear Community Members,
MVRHS would like to invite you to attend an important community meeting hosted by the Riverside Trauma Center on Tuesday, September 10th from 6:30-8:00pm in the MVRHS Library. The Director of the Riverside Trauma Center, Dr. Larry Berkowitz, will present ideas on how to have conversations with your children about sudden tragic events/losses and in particular how we talk about suicide with our children. Part of this meeting will be a presentation but more of the time will be spent responding to questions parents/guardians have, and the sharing of what is working in your conversations with your teens.
