Dear MVRHS Community,
This Friday, December 22nd we will hold our first annual Connect & Reflect Enrichment Day. This is a half day with dismissal at 11:00am. Your student(s) have signed up for workshops all geared towards bringing our community together, having fun and celebrating each other on our last day before winter break.
Why Connect & Reflect ?
Connection binds us together and fosters a sense of inclusion, belonging, support and understanding which in turn creates a school community where everyone can thrive.
Reflection allows us to celebrate accomplishments, learn from our challenges and continuously evolve as community members. In moments of reflection, we can appreciate so much.
Our Island community has experienced much grief this fall, and as we enter into a new year, it is important that we take moments to pause and reflect upon our experiences while also finding a balance of joy and gratitude.
We look forward to coming together to celebrate each other and the power of our community.
