Greetings Parents/Guardians,
We can’t wait to see you at Back to School Night on October 12th! Please contribute a dessert if possible to Cafeteria Catch-Up (and Confections), which will take place in the cafeteria during Back to School Night. We would love it if your dessert represents your culture or family. Drop off desserts to the front office during school hours or in the cafeteria between 5:30-6pm on Thursday.
The schedule for the evening allows parents the opportunity to follow an abbreviated schedule of their student’s classes. Unlike the regular 75 minute block, these classes will run for 10 minutes.
Teachers will review curriculum and tools for parents to monitor their student’s progress during the school year. Formal individual conferences can be scheduled with teachers in November. Take advantage of this opportunity to see the world your student inhabits every day and meet the people who teach them. It’s one of the best ways to build that all-important home-school connection.
Stop by the cafeteria during your student’s study hall, work study, open campus block or after the last block to enjoy coffee and dessert.
