Good evening MVRHS families,
We hope the new remote learning structure has provided some predictability and structure to the school week. We have been really pleased with the student engagement thus far, and I know that teachers are very happy to see and talk with their classes. We continue to miss you all, and we continue to hope that we will be back together in the building again.
Please be aware that the All Island School Committee has voted to cancel April vacation for the Martha’s Vineyard Public Schools this year. Monday, April 20 is a state holiday (Patriots’ Day) and therefore there is no school on that day. However, remote learning will continue the remainder of that week.
As a previous email has stated, there are slight changes in our island wide lunch program. At MVRHS we will be providing breakfast and lunch two days a week, on Monday and Thursday. Each bag will contain multiple days worth of lunches and breakfasts. We ask that you pre order your meals by filling out the link below or on our website. Thank you for understanding the need for this change.

Esperamos que a nova estrutura de aprendizado remoto tenha fornecido alguma previsibilidade e estrutura para a semana escolar. Ficamos muito satisfeitos com o envolvimento dos alunos até agora e sei que os professores estão muito felizes em ver e conversar com as aulas. Continuamos com saudades de todos e esperamos voltar a estar juntos no edifício.
Esteja ciente de que o Comitê Escolar de All Island votou pelo cancelamento das férias de abril nas Escolas Públicas de Martha’s Vineyard este ano. Segunda-feira, 20 de abril é feriado estadual (Dia dos Patriotas) e, portanto, não há escola nesse dia. No entanto, o aprendizado remoto continuará o restante da semana.
Como um e-mail anterior declarou, há alterações em nosso programa de almoço em toda a ilha. No MVRHS, forneceremos café da manhã e almoço dois dias por semana, segunda e quinta-feira. Cada saco conterá vários dias de comida. Solicitamos que você faça o pedido da sua refeição preenchendo o formulário em nosso site. Obrigado por entender a necessidade dessa alteração.
